We have been learning about rainforests in topic, during our lessons we have made our own rainforest in a bottle, we can see the layers developing we have added an animal on the forest floor, can see it is darker in the understory, have a clear canopy forming and have planted a tall plant to show the emergent layer.
Once again we have had a brilliant time at Dol Y Moch with our year 6 pupils, they have had a fantastic time learning new skills and making new friends. The children have tried hard every activity offered and shown great teamwork and resilience. Take a look at the amazing opportunities we had and see how much fun we had.
