SEND Active Panathlon event

 Today we went to a sports competition competing against other schools in a lot of different events, we were split into two teams, six children in each, and really enjoyed our day. Our favourite events were table cricket, parachute popcorn and bowling. Hopefully we will be able to adapt one of our table tennis tables into a table cricket table to teach our friends this new game we have learnt. We all did our best and are very proud and excited to have finished the competition in first and second place.

Cake sale for the NDCS

 This week we have been making and decorating cakes for our cake sale today. Our cakes looked beautiful and we were very excited to sell them. We sold them today at break time and after school to all our class friends and teachers. We have made just over £100 for the NDCS. Thank you to all who bought our cakes.

Deaf awareness assembly

 Today we led an assembly about deaf awareness. We showed our school friends the books we have brought for the school library and the large sign boards for the playground. Mrs Clarke taught some tips for talking to deaf people and is going to visit all classes to work with us.
