School games 2019

Today we competed in the school games at Warwick University. We were playing tennis and competing against schools from across Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull. We had great fun and were proud to come second in our competition.

We also met David Watson who represented team GB at the Invictus games and has 5 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 1 bronze.

A Day at Wimbledon

We had an amazing day at Wimbledon watching some great tennis. We were on court 1. We saw Barty from Australia defeat Zheng from China. Watched Konta from GB defeat Bogdan from Romania and saw Nadal play Sugita. We ate lunch on Henman Hill and explored the area. We were very excited about our day and will have memories to keep forever.

Inclusive sports day

We had a wonderful time on Friday trying lots of different sports. We tried boccia, wheelchair rugby, wheelchair basketball, tennis, adapted bikes, sitting volleyball, football, curling, dance, boxercise and wheelchair racing. it was great fun the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Sensory orienteering

We enjoyed a lesson exploring the wooded area at Brooke school in Rugby. We played games and musical instruments, explored touch and feel activities. We also walked on a tightrope between trees and held tadpoles.
