Homemade pizza

Try making your own pizza at home, follow the instructions on the video. Before you start you will need:

                                                                       Tortilla wraps   
                                          

                                                                                Oil


Salt and Pepper


Cheese and a grater


Tomato sauce/Passata


Optional extras

Vegetables - onion, pepper, mushrooms, olives anything you like really



                                            Meats - Chicken, ham, pepperoni, bacon, sausage

Visits to hospital - what it might look like

Here are a couple of videos showing you what your doctors and nurses might look like when you next visit a hospital. 








International space centre

Now let’s have a look at the international space centre.



The ISS circles the Earth in roughly 93 minutes, completing 15.5 orbits per day. It is about 400 kilometres from Earth. 

It is possible to see the ISS from Earth, there are many apps to help you.

This is what you might see.


There are 5 astronauts living on the space station at the moment including the 2 we saw launch last week. They will need to eat, sleep, work and keep fit while weightless!

Space exploration


Last Friday 2 astronauts were sent into space to stay at the international space station. Watch the launch here.



Try making your own rocket and see how high you can launch it, all you will need is paper, scissors, tape,felt pens or crayons and a straw.

Superhero topic

This half term our new topic is all about superheros, to get us started we need to know more about superheros. Here are some superheros you might like to research to complete the work this term.



Once you have learnt more about your heroes try to make a top trumps game using their special talents, strength, weapons or abilities to rate them and play your game with your families.
