Friction experiment

Here is a great experiment you can try at home. You only need to fond some cardboard or an old box, some glue, silver foil, sand or rice, play dough or blue tack and your cars or balls. Simply build your ramps as shown below and see which surfaces are rough or smooth. Which do you think will have the most friction and will slow the cars down, and which has the least friction so the cars will go faster?
Try it and see.


You could build it like this and have races, just remember to make the surface of each track different.
