Trip to the Lunt Roman Fort

Last week years 3 and 4 went to visit the Lunt Fort to learn about the Romans and their time here in Britain. We enjoyed dressing up and learning about the defenses at the fort to keep the Celts out. We visited the remains of a bath house and learnt how Romans kept clean with olive oil and a strigil, a tool for scraping skin.  We enjoyed our day.
