WW2 Topic Trip
In year 3 and 4 we have been learning all about what happened to Coventry in the Second World War. Yesterday we went on a trip to the Herbert Art Museum, where we learnt about peoples roles in the city during the war especially during the Blitz, The Transport Museum, where we learnt about children and evacuation and also the Coventry Cathedral. We also looked at different types of shelters and visited a public shelter used by 30 people during the night of the Coventry Blitz, it was very cold,damp and dark.

Henri Rousseau
In year 5 during our topic lessons we have been looking the the rainforest art work painted by Henri Rousseau. We took ideas from his work and created our own piece of rainforest art.
