We have been learning about Fables in Literacy.

We looked at different Fables.  Look which ones we have read;

The Hare and the Tortosie

The Boy who cried Wolf

The Crow and the Pitcher

The Mouse and the Lion

The elephant and the mouse

Belgrade theatre performance and surprise torch sighting.

We went to the Belgrade on Monday to perform our dance about 'Building Bridges' We went to the Belgrade in the morning and on the way we saw a lady called Annabel with an Olympic Torch.  The lady let us hold the torch.  Then we went to practice our dance.  We did really well.

In the Evening we went back to the theatre and performed in front of a full theatre.  We did great, lots of our family came to watch as well as Miss Szyndler.  We also watch lots of other schools perform different music, dance and singing.  

Mini HIU Olympics

We had a mini olympics, there were lots of events and we each chose five to do.  There was running, jumping, throwing and obstacles.  Medals were won for the top three scores.  Sara was 3rd, Ali was 2nd and William was first.  Everyone got a medal for taking part.   We had a great time!!

Monty the Police Dog came to visit.

Monty the Police Dog came to visit and showed us how he sniffs out illegal drugs.

We went to the Cathedral to perform our dance, we had a fantastic time and everyone was proud of us.  Have a look at our costumes, we made them ourselves!!

Dancing week 3 and 4

As   -   I like doing dancing best because dancing very good try hard.

Al   -   I like practice dancing and listening to music.

Am   -  I like to learn dancing, best using the material.

C   -    I like can't wait for dancing competition because I really love dancing.

S   -   I like dancing loads with Gemma, buildings and listening to music.

N   -   I like aeroplanes building houses, Crash!

Next week we will make our costumes.
