Fairground DT project

 This week we have been learning about fairground rides and how they work. We researched  ride and planned how we were going to make them.We then used construction materials to make a moving ride.

Here are our final rides.

















NDCS Listening bus visit

 We were very excited to visit the listening bus. We met other deaf children and adults and learnt about our deaf identity and our emotions and how they affect us. We also got to try a vibrating alarm clock an see how it could help us wake up independently.

Library opening

 This week we were excited to visit our new library. It was opened by Aaron Ashmore on Tuesday and we all enjoyed visiting for a story with our teacher and some of our parents to celebrate its opening. There is new artwork and a treehouse as well as lots of new books.

Black Country Museum

 At the end of our Victorian topic we were lucky to go to the Black Country Museum in Dudley. We had a great day exploring the old houses, sweet shop, canal, blacksmiths, church and of course going to a lesson in the Victorian school.
