Frogspawn

 We have been learning about the life cycle of a frog. We have frogspawn in our classroom and have noticed the first tadpoles hatching today.

Science week - All about bees

We have really enjoyed learning all about bees. We learnt there are about 260 species of bees in the UK. Bumble bees are gentle bees, Honey bees make honey and live in a hive with 1 queen. We enjoyed our video call with Dr Baron and were keen to ask her lots of questions. We have planted seeds to encourage bees to come to the school and our gardens.

We were really excited when a bumble bee came into our classroom a few days later. We looked closely at the bee and thought it was very big and fluffy.
