Safeside Trip

Year 5 had a great time at Safeside in Birmingham learning about being safe in the home and out and about.

Today we had a coaching session at Warwick University with some trainee coaches. We had great fun and learnt lots of new skills.

Mini-Beast Visit

Today we met a scorpion, a tarantula, a gecko, some hissing cockroaches and a boa constrictor. We looked at, held or stroked all of them. Our favourite was the Boa Constrictor.

Sportswear 1900 - 1920

Today year 5 learnt about the clothes people wore to play sports on the 1900's. We played tennis dressed in the clothes that would have been worn by players in the early 1900's. We found it really difficult to move and got really hot.
