Deaf Tennis Family Fun Day

Today we enjoyed a range of tennis activities. Our parents joined us and joined in with the activities. The tennis coaches came from David Lloyd to coach us and CCFC brought the speed serve counter. We enjoyed a great lunch and ate lots of strawberries.



































PE award

On Thursday the school was awarded county winner for the Physical Activity and Health Enhancing Initiatives. We received a certificate and glass trophy. We were excited to collect the award and explain all about the work we have done in deaf tennis.

Goodbye Mrs Elkin

We were very sad to say goodbye to Mrs Elkin. She has worked with us for a long time and will enjoy her rest.

Reception class assembly

Today we watched Reception class assembly. We learnt all about mini beasts. Well done Reception.

Viking Day

Today Yr3 and Yr4 experienced life as a Viking. This morning we were in a Viking village making necklaces, learning Viking writing, making medicines from herbs, making candles and lots of other activities. This afternoon we were archaeologists investigating artefacts.

RNLI water safety activity

Today we were lucky to have a volunteer from the RNLI come into school and talk to us about their jobs. We learnt about the boats and dangers on the beach.

Elmer Biscuits

This week we have been looking at stories by David McKee. We enjoyed looking at the Elmer books, especially all the different characters. Today we made our own Elmer biscuit friends.
