Making volcanoes

In science year 3 have been looking at different rocks. We have learnt about the layers of the Earth, and how they move. We looked at volcanoes and today we made our own from paper. We made lava erupt from the volcano by using vinegar and bicarbonate soda.

H.I.U Tennis Day

Yesterday we enjoyed a day out in Nottingham playing tennis. We learnt lots of games and practiced our tennis skills. We were taught by Cathy and Lewis who were both deaf and play tennis competitively. Here are some photos and videos of our day.

Reception class assembly

Today was reception class assembly. They told us all about their adventures traveling from Coventry to France, Australia and Kenya. They also shared the story We're Going on a Bear Hunt. Well done Reception.

Goldilocks and the three bears

Our new book we are looking at in literacy is Goldilocks and the three bears. Today we had the story for the first time and acted it out in groups.
