In our topic lessons we have been learning about the Anglo-Saxons, we have researched how they lived and what their houses were like. How the walls were made was interesting to us so we tried to recreate this in our classroom.
How to build a wattle and daub wall
Today we took a group of children to compete in a Panathlon event. We had a great time trying lots of different activities. We were extremely excited to find we had come first in the competition.
Today we joined lots of children from different schools to play tennis and meet other deaf children and adults. We took part in different activities, improved our skills and were taught new things. We met Catherine who coaches deaf tennis players for the GB deaf tennis team and got to watch her play a match with Collen. We had a lovely time, ate some amazing cakes and saw our friends from the secondary resorce base. A great day!
