Christmas party

 Today we had a Christmas party with our friends from the Stoke Park resource base. We played games and had party food. It was great to see everyone again and find out how everyone was. 

SEND Active Winter Festival

 Today we went and participated in a range of sports at Hereward College. There was a winter feel to the activities, snow men and snowball throwing, sensory christmas snow, curling, boccia and our favourite santa sleigh race. We worked really hard and were rewarded for our participation, teamwork and enthusiasm. We all received medals and Howes got to take the participation trophy back to school. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and are feeling very proud.

VEX IQ mini league

 We have joined with other primary schools in the very first mini league for our VEX IQ Robotics. This week we have competed at King Henry VIII school. There were 3 schools involved a total of 8 teams. Our teams did exceptionally well putting their driving skills to the test and planning out successful stratagies to gain the highest scores. Team B are currently top of the league, well done team!

Vex IQ Competition Day

 Today we took part in our second VEX IQ competition, this time here in Coventry at King Henry VIII School. We all passed inspection and the competition was fast paced with 9 team drives each and skills matches to be completed. We all did extremely well and worked really well in our teams. Overall we finished 6th in skills ( driving and programming) and 6th in the team challenges. We are very proud to have won the design award for showing our process of design in our workbooks and explaining how our robot has evolved to the judges. Great big WELL DONE.
