Erasmus visit to Helsinki, Finland

Last week a group of year 6 children went on a very exciting trip to Helsinki. During our week we visited a nature reserve where we enjoyed a walk in the snow and ate hotdogs cooked over an open fire.


We went to school with our host child and joined in with their lessons. On Wednesday we went to the zoo, which was on an island. We went on the tram and metro.


We enjoyed watching the independence day ball where the children sang and danced.


We had a great week and were sad to be coming home.

Coventry Christmas light switch on

We were lucky enough to join the Coventry young ambassadors on the stage in town to sing some Christmas songs. We enjoyed our time on the stage with hundreds of people watching us up on the big screen.
