British tennis open tennis championship

Today we went to Nottingham to watch some wheelchair tennis. We were amazed by the skill shown. We practiced our tennis skills and learnt to use a wheelchair ourselves. We found using the wheelchairs fun but quite difficult especially while holding a racket. We were very lucky to meet Heath Davidson from Australia and Gordon Reid from Great Britain.

School games

We had a fantastic day at The School Games today.  We competed in the inclusive tennis competition and had to do 8 activities to earn as many points for each activity as possible.  We tried our best in each activity to earn as many points as we could for our team.  At the end of the competition, the organisers totaled our points and we waited to hear who the top 3 teams were.  After a tense wait, we found out that we came second and won the silver medal!  We are super proud of all the children for trying so hard and encouraging each other to do their best.
