NEC Wheelchair Tennis Masters 2017

Today we went to Loughborough University to watch the wheelchair tennis. We watched David Wagner play Lucas Sithole. They were very good we were impressed by the fast hits. We met David and had our picture taken with him. We also got to play tennis in the activity zone.

Tree planting

Today all children from years 1 - 4 have planted a tree on our school field. We enjoyed planting them and even gave our tree a name.

Astronaut egg challenge

Today we worked in teams to see if we could safely land an astronaut. Our astronaut was an uncooked egg. We had to complete the challenge using only the following resources.
1 egg
1 plastic bag
150cm of string
150cm of tape
4 pieces of paper
20 lollipop sticks
20 straws

We worked well together and all our astronauts survived!
