Making bread

This week we have been looking at the story The Little Red Hen. As part of this topic we have studied how to make bread. Our bread was really nice and we enjoyed eating it at home.

Ugly Bug Ball

Today Nursery, Reception and Yr1 went to a music performance dressed as different bugs.
We were frogs and had a wonderful time.

Yaer 1 class assembly

Today was the year 1 class assembly. They told us all about their topic this term. They sang songs and acted really well. Well done year 1.

Walk to Rio

Today we took part in a walk for Rio event. The whole school paired up and walked around the field aiming to cover some of the 9277 km from Coventry to Rio. We really enjoyed the walk.

The Olympian Dave Long came to school to see us walk to Rio. He ran marathons in the 1988 and 1992 Olympics.

Tennis

Today we enjoyed taking part in our first tennis session with Mrs Bollands. We learnt lots of new skills and will practice them every Tuesday morning.
